Getting started
Why is it called Creator Dividend?
Creators film once and are paid commission on every sale their video drives, for as long as you run it as an ad, a bit like a dividend. You pay only on results, with no upfront fees to creators. Everything in your workspace still uses plain words: Commission, Pay creators, receipts and statements. (We used to be called UGC Loop. Nothing about your account, creators or settings has changed.)
Link to this answerHow do I set up a brand account?
Brands join Creator Dividend through a closed beta, by invitation. Creators can still sign up free at any time.
- On the homepage choose I'm a brand and fill in Apply for the brand beta (your name, work email, brand, website and a few quick questions). We reply within a few days.
- When you're invited, open the invite link we send you. Each link works once and creates one brand.
- Enter your brand name, website, your name, work email and a password, then confirm your email from the message we send you.
Or, from the invite link, press Continue with Google, pick your work Google account and fill in the short Create your brand step (brand name and website). There's no email to confirm.
Joining a brand that's already on Creator Dividend as a teammate? You don't need a beta invite: ask an admin to invite you from Settings → Team.
You land in Settings → Brand with your own workspace. Next, see What should I set up first?
Link to this answerWhat should I set up first?
Work down this list. Each step takes a few minutes, and you can do them in any order.
- Integrations → Meta ads: connect your ad account so you can push videos and see their sales. How
- Integrations → Shopify: connect your store for real orders, your products, your logo and free samples. How
- Integrations → Google Drive: every upload is saved to your Drive, one folder per creator. How
- Settings → Payout details: connect Airwallex (optional) and add your legal name, address and UEN for payout statements. How
- Settings → Commission: set what creators earn. How
- Settings → Team: invite colleagues. How
- Brief: tell creators what to say and show. How
- Bring in creators: copy your Creator invite link from Settings → Brand, or list your brand in Find brands (where creators look for brands) from Creators → Applications. How
In Settings, a green dot on Meta ads, Google Drive or Shopify means it's connected.
Link to this answerHow do I sign in?
- Press Sign in and choose I'm a brand.
- Press Continue with Google, or enter your email and password.
No password? Press Email me a sign-in link instead and open the link we send (it works once, for 15 minutes). Forgot it? Press Forgot password? and we'll email you a link to choose a new one.
You stay signed in on that device for 30 days. Sign out is at the bottom of the menu.
Link to this answerCan I sign in with Google?
Yes. On the sign-in page press Continue with Google and pick your work Google account. A new brand then fills in the short Create your brand step.
Signing in with Google is separate from connecting Google Drive: you still connect Drive in Integrations → Google Drive.
Link to this answerI already have an account. What happens if I press Continue with Google?
If your Google account uses the same email as your Creator Dividend account, you're signed in to that same account, and your password keeps working too.
If you haven't confirmed your email with us yet, Google can't sign you in until you do: sign in with your password (we'll email you a confirmation link) or use an email sign-in link first. A Google account with a different email makes a new, separate account.
Link to this answerWhat's on Home?
Home is where you land after signing in. The tiles show this month so far (GMV, sales, ad spend, ROAS and the commission you owe), each with ▲ or ▼ against the same days last month.
To do lists only what needs you, one tap to the right page: videos to review, creators who want to join, sample requests, samples delivered with no video yet, unread messages, creators owed for last month, and anything not set up yet (Meta, Shopify, Google Drive, commission, the brief). When it's all done it says You're all caught up.
Below are your top 5 creators this month by GMV and your latest uploads. The finance team's Home shows what's owed and paid this month and the payment to-dos instead.
Link to this answerI'm in more than one brand. How do I switch?
Press the card with your brand's name at the top of the menu. Under Switch workspace it lists every other brand you belong to. Pick one and the page switches to it. The same card has shortcuts to Brand settings and Team.
Link to this answerCan I try it with sample data first?
Yes. On the homepage press Brand demo (or Try the brand demo on the sign-up page). You get a sample workspace with creators, videos, ad results and payouts.
Look around freely: nothing you do is saved, and things that would send money or emails are turned off. Press Create a real account in the dark bar at the top when you're ready, or Exit demo to leave.
Link to this answerContent & videos
How do I review videos?
- Open Videos. New uploads show as Submitted.
- Watch the video in its card.
- Press Approve. Or press Reject, write what to change, and press Reject with this note.
The creator gets an email either way, and a reject note also lands in their chat as a comment. Use the menus at the top (All statuses, All creators, All products) to filter the library.
Link to this answerHow do I comment on a video?
- In Videos, press Comment on the video.
- Write your note and press Send to creator. Or press Approve with this comment to approve and send the note in one go.
The comment lands in the creator's chat with the video attached, and under the video on their page. Each card shows how many comments it has; press open chat to read them in Messages.
Link to this answerHow do video versions (v1, v2) work?
When a creator uploads a revised version, it joins the same card as v2 (then v3…). Press the v1 · v2 chips to switch between them.
- Every version runs independently. Approve, Reject, Comment, Push to Meta and Request the file only act on the version you're looking at.
- Nothing is replaced or archived for you: you can run v1 only, v2 only, or both.
- Each version is its own creative on Meta with its own results. Performance lists them as separate rows marked (v2).
- Filters match a card when any version matches, and the card opens on that version.
What are Instagram and TikTok posts in Videos?
Creators can submit a post they've already made by pasting its link. Those cards show the post's cover with an Instagram or TikTok label and No file yet. Press the cover or View post to watch it on the platform.
Approve, Reject and Comment work as usual. To run it as an ad you need the original video file:
- Press Request the file. The creator gets a chat message asking for it (press Ask again for the file to nudge them).
- We email you when it arrives. The card becomes a normal video, and Push to Meta works.
Why does a video say 'WebM — convert before pushing to Meta'?
It was filmed in an older browser, which records WebM. You can watch and approve it, but Meta ads only accept MP4 or MOV, so Push to Meta is off for it. Ask the creator to send an MP4 as a new version (Safari on iPhone and recent Chrome record MP4), or download it and convert it to MP4 yourself.
Link to this answerCan creators film inside Creator Dividend?
Yes. Creators have Record in their menu: a teleprompter studio that scrolls your brief's sample scripts while they film. They keep takes on their phone and send the best one, which lands in Videos as Submitted with the product and hook filled in. You can try it at /record.
Link to this answerWhat does the 'Drive:' line on a video mean?
With Google Drive connected, every upload is copied to your Drive. Open in Drive means it's there; saving… means it's on its way. If it shows a problem, fix it (often: press Reconnect Google Drive in Integrations → Google Drive), then press Retry on the video.
Link to this answerWhat do 'Ads running', 'Ads paused' and 'Ready for ads' mean?
- Ads running: an ad with this video had spend in the last 3 days.
- Ads paused: it ran as an ad before, but has had no spend for 3 days or more.
- Ready for ads: it's approved and on Meta, but no ad has spent on it yet.
Meta ads
How do I connect Meta?
- In Meta Business Settings go to Users → System users and press Generate new token. Tick ads_management, ads_read, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and instagram_basic, and set expiry to Never.
- Assign your ad accounts, Pages and Instagram accounts to that system user.
- Open Integrations → Meta ads, paste the token and press Save token. You'll see Token works ✓, or what's wrong and how to fix it.
- Press Load my accounts, tick the ad accounts, Pages and Instagram accounts this brand uses, and press Save.
Once the token works it's tucked away under Replace token.
Link to this answerCan I use more than one ad account, Page or Instagram account?
Yes. Tick as many as you need under Integrations → Meta ads (or add one with Add by ID). Each shows as a card with its name, ID and picture; ad accounts also show the currency, whether they're active and whether they have a payment method.
- One of each is the Default, used when you push with one press. Press Make default on another to change it.
- Press Remove to stop using one here (nothing changes in Meta).
- Names and status are re-read once a day; press Refresh to read them now.
- Sales are read from every connected ad account.
Meta says 'The token doesn't work'. What do I do?
The message under it says what's wrong. The usual fixes:
- Expired or revoked: in Meta Business Settings → Users → System users, press Generate new token (expiry: Never) and paste it under Replace token.
- Missing a permission: make a new token with ads_management, ads_read, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and instagram_basic ticked.
- Account not found: assign that ad account, Page or Instagram account to the system user in Meta, then press Refresh.
If one ad account can't be read, the others still update, and the problem shows under that account.
Link to this answerHow do I push a video to Meta?
- In Videos, approve the video.
- Press Push to Meta. If you've connected more than one ad account, Page or Instagram account, a small form opens with your defaults chosen: change any, then press Push to Meta.
- In a few minutes the card says Creative ready in Ads Manager. Build your ad from it in Ads Manager as usual.
The creative is named <prefix>_<creator id>_<video id>_<hook> and already carries the tracking that links orders to the creator. No ad is created, so nothing spends until you launch one. If a push fails, the reason shows on the card: fix it and press Retry push to Meta.
Link to this answerHow are Shopify orders matched to a creator?
Every video you push to Meta becomes an ad creative with a tracking tag on its links (utm_content=cp_ plus the creator's and video's code, with utm_source=meta, utm_medium=paid_social and utm_campaign=creator). Ads you build from these creatives keep the tag, so they count. Ads made from a fresh upload of the video in Ads Manager don't.
Shopify remembers the visits before each order. If the customer's last visit came from a creator's ad, the order is theirs; if the last visit had no tracking (they typed your address), the first visit decides. Orders that don't come from a creator's ad are never stored, and we keep no customer names, emails or addresses.
Link to this answerHow do I add tracking to ads made before 26 Oct 2026?
- In Videos, find the video and open Tracking for older ads under its Meta line.
- Copy the text shown.
- In Ads Manager, open the ad and paste it into Tracking → URL parameters. Publish the change.
How are ad results matched to creators, and how often?
Every night we read each ad's spend, purchases and purchase value from every ad account in Integrations → Meta ads, and match the ad to a video by its creative (or creative name). Press Sync now on Performance → Overview to update straight away. Shopify orders arrive within a minute.
Link to this answerPerformance & orders
How do I read the Performance page?
- Open Performance → Overview.
- Press the date button at the top right. Pick a preset like Last 7 days or This month, or choose a start and end day in the calendar, then press Update.
Each tile shows the total and the change against the period of the same length just before. Green is better, red is worse; ad spend is grey, because more spend isn't good or bad by itself.
The charts show sales value (bars) and ad spend (orange line) per day, sales by creator, ROAS by creator and new videos per day. Hover or tap a bar for its numbers. The By creator and By video tables sort when you click a column heading.
Link to this answerHow do I see which creators grew or dropped?
On Performance → Overview, scroll to By creator. The Biggest gains and Biggest drops cards list the three creators who moved most against the previous period. Pick a different date range to compare other periods.
Link to this answerWhy don't the numbers match Meta or Shopify exactly?
- With commission on Meta-reported purchases, sales and GMV are what Meta reports for the ads, using your ad account's attribution window. Shopify can count differently.
- With Shopify orders, orders and revenue are only the orders from people who clicked a creator's ad, after discounts and refunds, without shipping. Cancelled orders don't count. Ad spend and ROAS stay Meta-reported.
- Meta numbers update overnight; press Sync now for the latest.
How do I see the individual orders my creators drove?
Open Performance → Orders (it needs Shopify connected). Every order from someone who clicked a creator's ad is listed, newest first:
- date and time (Singapore time) and the order number (opens it in your Shopify admin)
- the creator and video, what was bought and the country it shipped to
- the amount after discounts and refunds (refunded and cancelled orders are struck through)
- New or Returning customer, and the commission it earned
Use the date picker and the filters for creator, video, new or returning and country; the boxes on top add up what you're looking at. Press Export CSV to download them. The table shows 50 orders a page.
Link to this answerWhat do 'New' and 'Returning' customer mean?
New is the customer's first order in your Shopify store; Returning means they've ordered before. Performance → Overview also has a New vs returning customers card and your Top countries. If you pay commission on first-time customers only, returning orders earn nothing (see Shopify orders or Meta?).
Link to this answerWhy does an order's country show '—'?
Either the order has no address (some digital orders), or Shopify isn't letting your app read order addresses. If the Orders tab shows a yellow note:
- In Shopify's Dev Dashboard (or Partner Dashboard) open your app → API access requests → Protected customer data access.
- Select Protected customer data and, if countries still don't show, the Address field (we only read the country).
- Save, release the update and approve it in your store.
The next order sync (or Re-sync orders in Settings → Commission) fills the countries in.
Link to this answerCommission
How do I set the default commission plan?
- Open Settings → Commission.
- Under Every sale pays, fill in any mix of an amount per sale, a % of GMV (the value of the sales) and a % of ad spend. Blank means 0; they're added together.
- Check the In plain words box and the example, which update as you type.
- Press Save default plan.
Every creator is on this plan unless you give them their own. Only admins can change commission.
Link to this answerHow do bonus tiers work?
- In the plan editor, under Bonus tiers — pay more when a creator has a big month, press + Add a tier.
- Choose sales or GMV, enter the monthly amount that unlocks it, and what it pays instead.
- Save the plan.
Example: once sales reach 100 in a month, pay S$7 a sale + 2% of GMV. Months are calendar months (Singapore time). A tier pays its rate on every sale that month, not just the ones after the line. If a creator reaches more than one tier, the one that pays them most applies. Press Remove on a row to delete a tier.
Link to this answerHow do I give one creator a different plan (like VIP)?
- Open Creators.
- On their row, change Plan: Default to Plan: Custom (it starts as a copy of the default), or press Edit plan.
- Change the rates. To name it, fill in Plan name (optional, e.g. VIP). Save.
The name shows as a badge in Creators, and the creator sees "VIP plan: …" on their Earnings. Press Reset to default on that page to put them back. Tiers are for paying more in a big month; a custom plan is for paying one person more all the time.
Link to this answerShould commission come from Shopify orders or Meta?
In Settings → Commission, under Where sales come from, choose:
- Shopify orders (recommended): real orders in your store from people who clicked a creator's ad. Needs Shopify connected first.
- Meta-reported purchases: what Meta reports for the ads (its attribution window). This is the default.
With Shopify you can also switch on Only first-time customers, so only a customer's first order earns commission. Press Save. This month and last month are worked out again straight away; months you've already paid stay as they are. Switching to Shopify loads the last 60 days of orders; press Re-sync orders to load them again.
Link to this answerWith Shopify orders, what counts as a sale?
An order from a creator's ad that isn't cancelled or fully refunded counts as one sale. Its value is the subtotal after discounts and refunds, without shipping (tax is included if your prices include it). Per-sale and % of GMV commission is worked out per order; % of ad spend still uses Meta's spend. Tiers, leaderboards, sales emails and the "first sale" referral bonus follow the same orders.
Link to this answerWhat happens when an order is refunded?
Before you've paid the month, the order's value just goes down (or stops counting if it's fully refunded or cancelled), and the month is worked out again.
After you've paid the month, it stays exactly as paid. The commission on the refunded part comes off the month the refund happened instead, shown in Payments owed and on the creator's Earnings as "incl. refund adjustment −S$…". If that leaves a month below zero, it comes off what they're owed for other months. A late order for a paid month is added the same way ("late-order adjustment").
Link to this answerWhat happens to past earnings when I change a plan?
Saving a plan works out this month and last month again with the new rates, so Earnings, Performance and Pay creators all show the new numbers. Any month you've already paid stays exactly as it was, and older months don't change.
Link to this answerPayments & documents
How do I see what each creator is owed?
Open Payments: it opens on Pay creators. The top shows Owed now and how many creators are ready to pay. Pick a Month to see that month and anything older still unpaid, or leave it on Everything owed. Each row shows the creator, the month, the amount, how they want to be paid and whether they're Ready or have Missing details. Creators see the same figures on their Earnings.
Recent payments at the bottom lists your pay runs with their status, and Every payment recorded links each payment to its invoice and receipt. Export CSV downloads the list (with mobile numbers). We also email admins and finance a reminder on the 1st of each month.
Link to this answerHow do I pay creators?
- Open Payments → Pay creators (pick a month at the top if you only want to pay up to that month).
- Everyone owed whose payout details are complete and who has agreed to self-billing is ticked (Ready). Untick anyone you don't want to pay now.
- Check Pay by for each creator. It's set from how they want to be paid:
- Bank transfer: Airwallex if it's connected, otherwise the DBS file.
- PayNow: Airwallex if PayNow through Airwallex is on, otherwise the DBS file.
- PayPal: the PayPal file.
- Press Pay N creators · S$X, check the totals and any warnings, tick I've checked the amounts and who gets paid and confirm.
- Airwallex payments are sent straight away. For the DBS or PayPal file, follow the steps on the pay run page (see DBS and PayPal).
Each creator gets a "Payment sent" email with their payout statement once they're marked paid.
Link to this answerWhat do the warnings in Pay creators mean?
- Missing payout details / Can't pay until their payout details are complete: they haven't filled in "How should we pay you?" in their Profile. We remind them on their dashboard.
- Haven't agreed to self-billing yet: they need to tick the payout statements box in their Profile first.
- GST-registered: the creator says they're registered for GST. Check with your accountant whether you need their own tax invoice.
- Already in the DBS (or PayPal) file from …: it's in a file you haven't marked paid yet, so it can't be paid twice. Open that pay run to mark it paid or cancel it.
How do I connect Airwallex?
- In Airwallex, make an API key (Settings → Developer → API keys) with Payouts and Beneficiaries access.
- Open Settings → Payout details. Choose Demo to test or Production to pay for real.
- Paste the Client ID and API key, press Save Airwallex, then Test connection.
- Optional: add the webhook address shown there, so payment updates arrive straight away instead of daily.
From then on, bank-transfer creators are paid by Airwallex in a pay run. Each payment is sent from your SGD balance and its status updates by itself (Sent · arriving → Paid); press Refresh status to check now. A failed transfer shows the reason and the creator is owed again. A payment is never sent twice. One transfer can be at most S$200,000; bigger payments go in the DBS file.
Link to this answerCan Airwallex pay creators by PayNow?
- In Settings → Payout details, press Check PayNow support (next to Test connection). It only reads your account's options: nothing is created or sent.
- If it says PayNow payouts available ✓, PayNow creators (mobile, NRIC/FIN, UEN or VPA) are paid through Airwallex from then on.
Press Turn off PayNow through Airwallex to send them in the DBS file instead. If your account can't send PayNow through the API, they stay in the DBS file: ask Airwallex support to enable PayNow payouts. New keys need a new check.
Link to this answerWhere do I see my Airwallex balance?
Settings → Payout details and the top of Pay creators show Airwallex balances: one box per currency, with Available in large type and Pending and Reserved underneath. It refreshes every few minutes; press Refresh to check now. When you review a pay run it says Enough balance ✓ or how much you're short. If you're short, the Airwallex payments are left out of that run (the files are still made), so top up your SGD wallet first. We never convert other currencies for you.
Link to this answerHow do I pay with a DBS IDEAL file?
After you confirm a pay run, the DBS section shows three steps:
- Press Download DBS file.
- In DBS IDEAL go to Payments → Bulk Payment, upload the file and approve it. PayNow rows go by PayNow, bank rows by FAST, each with the creator's statement number as the reference.
- Back here, type IDEAL's batch reference and the date, and press Mark these as paid.
Changed your mind? Press Cancel this file and they go back to Pay creators.
Link to this answerHow do I pay creators by PayPal?
- In the pay run, press Download PayPal file.
- In PayPal Business go to Pay & Get Paid → Send payments to multiple recipients (Payouts), upload it and send. You need Payouts turned on.
- Back here, enter PayPal's batch ID and the date, and press Mark these as paid.
How do I record a payment I made myself?
In Payments → Pay creators, press Mark as paid manually (under the list). Find the creator and month, enter the amount, date and your reference, and press Mark paid. A receipt is made and the creator gets a "Payment sent" email.
Link to this answerWhat are payout statements? Do creators send invoices?
Creators don't send invoices. Each creator agrees once (at sign-up, or in their Profile) that you issue a payout statement, a self-billed invoice, on their behalf.
A statement is made for each creator and month you pay, numbered in order (like CP-2026-0001). It shows your legal name, address and UEN, the creator's legal name and masked payout details, commission by video, referral bonuses, refund adjustments and the total. Add your legal details in Settings → Payout details (or Settings → Brand) so they're printed on every statement.
Link to this answerWhere do I download invoices (statements) and receipts for bookkeeping?
Open Payments → Invoices & receipts. Every payout statement (self-billed invoice) (one per creator per month paid) and every payment receipt (one per payment, like RCPT-2026-0001) is listed. A receipt is made by itself whenever a payment is recorded as paid.
- Pick the dates (receipts go by date paid, statements by the month they're for), a creator, the document type and how it was paid.
- Press PDF on a row for one document, Download all (ZIP) for every PDF plus a summary.csv, or Download summary (CSV) for just the spreadsheet for your accounting software.
A very big ZIP is prepared in the background: we email you the link when it's ready. Each pay run also has Download receipts (ZIP). Only admins and finance can see these.

How do I get creators into my workspace?
- Open Settings → Brand.
- Under Creator invite link, press Copy and send the link to your creators (WhatsApp, email, DMs).
They sign up from that link and join your brand. Creators who already have an account open the link while signed in. You can also let creators find you: see How do creators find my brand and apply?
Link to this answerHow do creators find my brand and apply?
- Open Creators → Applications.
- Under Your listing in Find brands, tick List my brand in Find brands, write one line about your brand and add a few categories.
- Press Save listing.
Creators then see your card in Brands → Find brands with what they'd earn on your default plan; your About and products come from your Brief. Your invite link keeps working: people who use it join without applying.
Link to this answerWhat do creators see about my products in Find brands?
With Shopify connected, your page in Find brands shows your products as photo cards: photo, name, price and You earn ~S$X per sale. Tapping a card opens that product on your shop.
- Which products: the ones ticked under Products creators can choose in Settings → Brand (only live products). If none are ticked, every active product shows. Up to 12 show first, with See all for the rest.
- The earnings number is your default plan for one order of one item at full price: per sale + % of GMV × the price. A % of ad spend and bonus tiers are mentioned once above the cards, not added in. With Only first-time customers on, it says per new-customer sale.
- Creators on their own plan (VIP) aren't shown here; Find brands always shows your default plan.
- Photos and prices come from your last Shopify sync. No Shopify, or no products? Creators see your product names from your Brief instead.
How do I approve or decline applications?
When someone applies, the number next to Applications goes up and we email you. Each application shows their name, country, handles (tap to open their profile) and why they'd be a great fit.
- Approve: they join on your default plan, get an email and a welcome message from you in Messages pointing them to your brief.
- Decline: add an optional note and press Decline application. We email them.
Tick Approve every applicant automatically to let everyone straight in.
Link to this answerHow do I find and invite new creators?
Open Discover. It lists creators on Creator Dividend who turned on Let brands find me, with their results from the last 30 days.
- Search by name or @handle, or open Filters to narrow by country, niche, gender, age, 30-day GMV or Has videos running as ads. Sort by GMV, submissions, approval % or newest, then press Show creators.
- Click a card (or the creator's name) to open their full profile: a bigger photo, bio, every niche, their numbers explained, Instagram and TikTok handles, recent approved videos you can play, portfolio links and media kit. Use ← / → to move to the next creator and Esc to close. You can share the address of an open profile with a teammate.
- Tap the ☆ on a card or profile to shortlist someone. Your shortlist is on the ★ Shortlisted tab.
- Press Invite on a card, or tick several cards and press Invite N creators in the bar at the bottom.
- Pick the commission plan (your standard plan, or a named plan such as VIP that one of your creators is on), add a short note if you like, and press Send invitation.
We email them and show the invitation on their Brands page. When they accept, they join on that plan, get your welcome message in Messages, and we email you. Invitations expire after 30 days. Cards say Invited while you wait, and Already working with you for your own creators.
Link to this answerWhat do the numbers on a creator card mean?
Every number covers the creator's last 30 days across every brand on Creator Dividend, and is updated once a day.
- 30d GMV: the sales value their videos brought in, as a range (under S$1k, S$1k+, S$5k+, S$10k+, S$20k+, S$50k+, S$100k+). Other currencies are converted to S$ roughly. We never show the exact figure or what they earned.
- 30d submissions: how many videos they sent to brands.
- Approval: of the videos brands reviewed, the share they approved. It shows New until at least 5 were reviewed.
- Gender, niches, city and age range are what the creator chose to share. Age is a range, never a birthday.
- The thumbnails are up to 5 of their latest videos that a brand approved. Tap one to play it. They never show which brand it was for. Creators with fewer than 5 fill the rest with Portfolio links (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Google Drive or their website), which open in a new tab.
- 📄 Media kit opens the creator's media kit or CV (a PDF). Only your signed-in team can open it.
- The profile also shows Works with N brands when they work with other brands on Creator Dividend. It never says which ones.
- Only creators with a profile photo and Let brands find me on are listed.
Where do I see my creators and their contact details?
Open Creators. Each row shows the creator's mobile number, handles, videos, payout method (admins and finance) and commission plan. Press WhatsApp to open a chat with them, or the number to call. Creators add their number when they sign up and can change it in their Profile.
Link to this answerHow do I message a creator?
- Open Messages and press New message, then pick the creator. (Or open an existing conversation.)
- Type and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line).
Messages appear live on both sides, and whoever isn't on the site gets an email (at most one every 30 minutes per conversation). The number next to Messages is your unread count. To talk about one video, use Comment on it in Videos.
One shared inbox for the team. Everyone with Admin or Performance marketing access sees every creator conversation and every message, whoever wrote it. Each message shows who sent it (with their photo or initials), the inbox shows "You: …" or "Aamod: …" for the last message, and the top of a conversation says who last replied.
Unread is per person. Opening a conversation only clears it for you; your teammates still see it as unread until they open it too.
Ticks. Under your team's messages: ✓ sent, ✓✓ grey delivered (the creator's page has it), ✓✓ blue read by the creator. Under the creator's latest message, Seen by lists which teammates have read it (tap it for times). Read receipts are always on.
Link to this answerHow do free product samples work?
- Connect Shopify, then in Integrations → Shopify switch on Samples next to each product creators may request, set how many each creator gets a month (2 unless you change it), and press Save sample settings.
- Creators request one with their shipping address.
- In Samples, press Approve and create order. We create a S$0 order in your Shopify store (free shipping, tagged creator-sample), so it ships like any other order. Or press Decline with an optional note.
Ship it from Shopify as usual. The parcel then moves through the tabs on Samples on its own, with the courier, tracking number and delivery date (how tracking works). The creator sees the same status. If Shopify can't create the order, it shows under Problems with the reason: fix it and press Try again. Tick Approve sample requests automatically to skip approving. Each creator can have one open request per product.
Link to this answerHow do I track sample deliveries?
Open Samples. The tabs follow each sample from request to doorstep, with a count on each: Requested (waiting for you to approve), Preparing, On the way, Delivered, Problems and All.
Each row shows the creator, the product, the Shopify order (press it to open the order in Shopify), the courier and tracking number (press Copy, or Track parcel to open the courier's tracking page), the dates it was requested, shipped and delivered, and the city it's going to. Admins can press Full address to see the whole address.
What each status means:
- Preparing: the order is in Shopify but not shipped yet. Packed: a shipping label was printed; it's waiting for the courier.
- With the courier / Picked up by courier / In transit: on its way. Out for delivery: arriving today. Delayed: the courier expects it later than planned. Shipped: you marked it shipped without tracking updates.
- Delivered 24 Oct: the courier confirmed delivery.
- Under Problems: Delivery attempted (nobody was in), Delivery failed / Not delivered, Cancelled (the order was cancelled in Shopify), Order not created (press Try again) and Can't check status (we couldn't read the order from Shopify; reconnect it in Settings if this stays).
Statuses come from Shopify, so they only move when you add tracking to the shipment in Shopify (or your shipping app does). We check every few minutes while you're on the page, and overnight. Press Refresh to check now.
Delivered N days ago — no video yet marks creators who've had their sample for 3 days or more without uploading. Press Message creator to send a friendly nudge.
Link to this answerWhere do creators give their shipping address?
When they request a sample, not when they sign up, so creators who never need a sample are never asked. After their first request the address is filled in for them (they can still change it), and they can edit it any time in Profile → Where should product samples go?
Each request keeps the address it was sent to, so changing it later doesn't change orders already made.
Link to this answerHow do I run a leaderboard challenge?
- Open Leaderboard. Under Settings choose whether creators see the leaderboard, what it ranks by (GMV, sales or commission), whether handles show, and whether creators see exact amounts or rank only.
- Under Challenges press + New challenge. Add a title, the target (GMV, sales or approved videos) and amount, the prize, start and end dates, rules and an optional prize image.
- Press Start challenge.
Creators see it at the top of their leaderboard with their own progress bar and a countdown. Edit or End now changes or stops it. The preview at the bottom shows exactly what creators see.
Link to this answerWhere do I see challenge winners and track prizes?
Everyone who hits the target is listed under the challenge. When a challenge ended in the last 2 months (or creators already hit the live one), a Challenge winners card also sits at the top of Videos. Press Mark prize sent once you've sent each prize. Every finished challenge is under Past winners at the bottom of the leaderboard. The day after a challenge ends you get a "Challenge ended" email, and each winner gets a "You won" email.
Link to this answerHow do creator referrals work?
- Open Referrals and tick Referral programme is on.
- Set the bonus per new creator and when it's earned: first video approved (recommended, as it stops fake sign-ups), first sale, or on sign-up. Optionally set a monthly limit per creator and the message creators see.
- Press Save rules.
Each creator then gets their own invite link on their Referrals page. New creators who sign up from it show as Joined, then Earned once they qualify. Earned bonuses are included in Pay creators, or pay one yourself and press Mark paid. Export CSV gives you the full list.

How do I write the creator brief?

- Press Save brief. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, we ask first.
Creators see it straight away under Brief, with a "New" label until they open it. Your top-selling videos from the last 90 days are added automatically. Press Preview as creator to see their view.

Up to 12 scripts. Creators get a Copy script button, and can film any script in the Record studio with Film this script.

Where do I find things in Settings?
Open Settings in the menu. The tabs across the top are:
- Brand: name, website, the products creators can choose, colour and logo, and your creator invite link
- Commission: the default plan and where sales come from
- Team: who's on your team (the number is the team size)
- Payout details: Airwallex and the legal details on payout statements (admins and finance only)
Shopify, Meta ads and Google Drive are under Integrations in the menu (see Integrations). On a phone, swipe the tabs sideways.
Link to this answerHow do I add or change my profile photo?
Open Your profile (bottom of the menu). Under Profile photo, press Upload photo and pick a JPG, PNG or WebP picture (up to 8 MB). Drag it to move it, use the slider to zoom, then press Save photo. Signed in with Google? Press Use my Google photo instead.
Your photo shows next to your name in the menu, on the Team page and in chats. Your teammates and the creators you work with can see it. Press Remove photo to go back to your initials.
Link to this answerHow do I add teammates?
- Open Settings → Team.
- Paste one or more email addresses (separated by commas, spaces or new lines; up to 50 at a time).
- Choose a role: Admin, Performance marketing or Finance.
- Press Send invites.
New people get an email with a Set up my account button that works for 7 days. People who already have an account are added straight away. There's no limit on team size. Someone who is a creator in your brand can't join the team with the same email.
Link to this answerWhat can each team role do?
- Admin: everything, including paying creators, commission plans and the team.
- Performance marketing: everything except money. They review videos, push to Meta, read Performance, run the leaderboard, message creators, handle applications and samples, write the brief and change the Brand, Meta ads, Google Drive and Shopify settings. They can't see payout details, change commission, open Payments or Referrals, or change the team.
- Finance: only Home (what's owed and paid), Payments and Settings → Payout details: pay creators, record payments, download invoices, receipts and the CSV.
How do I change a role, resend an invite or remove someone?
Open Settings → Team (admins only):
- Change the role in the menu next to their name. It saves straight away.
- Not set up yet? They show Invited: press Resend invite for a fresh link.
- Press Remove, then Yes, remove. They lose access to your brand at once, but keep their account for other brands.
Your team always keeps at least one admin, so the last admin can't be removed or changed.
Link to this answerHow do I choose which emails I get?
Press Notifications (the bell above Sign out). Flip the switch next to each email; it saves straight away, and Turn all off / Turn all on changes a whole group.
Everyone chooses for themselves and only sees the emails their role can get: new videos, files you asked for, messages, applications, sample requests, challenge targets, the daily sales summary, the Monday weekly report (off unless you turn it on), the payments-owed reminder on the 1st, "Something needs attention" (a failed Meta push or Drive copy, or a sync that keeps failing) and new teammates. Every email has a one-click Turn off link. Sign-in links, password resets and team invites always arrive.
Link to this answerHow do I get a pop-up and a sound when a creator messages us?
- Open Messages and press Turn on message alerts at the top (or use the Message alerts switches at the bottom).
- Press Allow when your browser asks.
While the site is open you hear a chime and see a note with the creator's name and an Open button; with alerts on you also get pop-ups when the site is closed (computer or Android). On iPhone or iPad, first tap Share → Add to Home Screen, open the app from your Home Screen, then turn alerts on (iOS 16.4 or later). Each teammate turns it on in their own browser. Blocked by mistake? Allow notifications for this site in your browser settings and reload.
Link to this answerHow do I switch to dark mode?
- At the bottom of the menu, under Notifications, press Dark. (It's also in Your profile → Appearance.)
- The whole app switches straight away.
Light switches back, and System follows your phone or computer's own light/dark setting. Your choice is saved to your account, so it's the same next time you sign in, on any device. The home page and sign-in page always stay light.
Link to this answerIntegrations
Where do I connect Shopify, Meta ads, Google Drive and Airwallex, and how do I know they're working?
Open Integrations in the menu. There's one card for each: Shopify, Meta ads, Google Drive, Airwallex (payouts) (admins only) and TikTok ads (coming soon). Each shows Connected, Not connected or Needs attention, and what's connected.
Shopify → Connection health: Receiving data means a creator's link brought in an order in the last 7 days; No recent data means none in 7 days (normal while ads are new); Needs attention means the last sync failed (the reason is shown). You also see the last creator order, the last sync, how many products are synced and whether webhooks are on (new orders arrive as they happen; when off, they arrive with the daily catch-up). Only orders from creator links are stored.
Meta ads lists your Ad accounts (the ones videos are pushed to and stats are read from, with Default and Active or Disabled) and your Pages & Instagram: each Facebook Page with the Instagram account linked to it. The Partnership ads label marks the identity partnership ads run under, next to the creator's handle: your default Instagram account (or default Page if you have none). Ready means that Instagram account is linked to your default Page, as of our last check; Meta still reviews each ad. You also see how many creators have added a partnership ad code.
How creator ads run today: pushing a video creates a creative in your ad account, ready to use in Ads Manager. Partnership ad codes are kept for each creator; launching partnership ads from here is coming soon. Last stats sync shows when spend and sales were last read; press Sync now to read the last 28 days again.
Press Manage (or Connect) to open that integration's page, where you change or disconnect it. The tabs at the top (Shopify, Meta ads, Google Drive) jump straight to each one; a green dot means connected. Airwallex is set up in Settings → Payout details; DBS and PayPal payout files need no connection.
Link to this answerHow do I connect Shopify?
- Open Integrations → Shopify.
- Type your store address (yourstore or yourstore.myshopify.com) and press Connect with Shopify.
- Check the permissions on Shopify's page and press Install. You come straight back here.
Prefer your own Shopify app? In Shopify's Dev Dashboard create an app with read_products, read_orders and write_draft_orders, install it, then open Or use your own Shopify app (access token), paste the Client ID and secret (or an Admin API token starting with shpat_) and press Check and connect.
Your products sync in about a minute and the last 60 days of creator orders load. New orders, refunds and cancellations then arrive by themselves. Press Sync products after changing your catalogue, or Disconnect to stop.
Link to this answerHow do I use my Shopify logo and brand colours?
- Connect Shopify.
- Open Settings → Brand. The From Shopify box shows the logo, colours and slogan from your Shopify admin (Settings → Brand there). None yet? Add them in Shopify and press Sync now.
- Press Use Shopify brand colour to make it the colour of your buttons and highlights. Switch on Always keep in sync with Shopify to follow it every day.
Your logo shows next to your brand name in the menu, in Find brands, at the top of your brief, in your emails and on your sign-in pages. Picking your own colour and pressing Save turns syncing off.
Link to this answerHow do I choose the products creators can pick?
- Open Settings → Brand → Products creators can choose.
- With Shopify connected, tick Creators can choose this for each product (one line per product, not per size or flavour). Without Shopify, type your products one per line.
- Press Save.
Creators see exactly these, with the photo, in the Product featured menu when they upload. New Shopify products are ticked automatically while New Shopify products are added automatically is on. Sell a bundle that isn't in Shopify? Type it under Add a product not in Shopify.
Link to this answerHow do I connect Google Drive?
- Open Integrations → Google Drive and press Connect Google Drive.
- Sign in with the Google account whose Drive should get the videos, and press Allow.
- Press Create a folder for me, or Choose an existing folder (Shared drives work too).
Every upload is then saved there, in one folder per creator named like "Maya Lim (@maya.sleeps)". A creator keeps their folder even if they change their name; delete it and a new one is made with their next video. We can only see the files we save and the folder you pick. Change folder and Disconnect are on the same card. If it says Reconnect Google Drive, press it and sign in again, then press Retry on any video that wasn't saved.
